Thankful

I am copying my sis Cami and doing a blog about what I am thankful for. I have so much to be thankful for. My life is beautiful.

I am thankful for my husband, Jared. I am thankful that he fills my belly with great food. I am thankful he is kind and generous. I am thankful that he puts me and Elliot first before everything and everyone else. He is FUNNY, creative, and amazing at everything he does. He is a great Dad, Husband, Brother, Son, and Friend.

I am thankful for all the smiles Elliot brings to our home. He is an Angel. I'm thankful that he eats well. He is healthy, smart, and strong. He sleeps really well. And he is happy most of the time. He has brought the most amazing spirit to our little family and our lives will never be the same.

I'm thankful for my parents who inspire my husbands cooking and help me whenever I need them. I am thankful for my Sisters who give me parenting advice, friendship, and nieces and nephews I love to pieces. I'm thankful for my brother who shares my love for music and always has what I want to listen to on hand.

I am thankful for my inlaws for letting us live with them. They are kind, welcoming, generous people and I love being around them. I'm thankful for Julie for being one of my very best friends and helping me so much with Eli.(Who loves her SOOOO much)

I am thankful for my Ipod which offers me hours of music and entertainment. Im thankful for our restaurant and the success that we have had already with it. Im thankful for Star Trek without it we would have nothing to watch. I am thankful that I get to spend time with lots and lots of family this Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for:
pajama pants
Diet Coke
baby jammies
the smell of Lavender
my cats
my friends
pumpkin cake
the gospel
our ward
oatmeal
and BBQ
I am thankful that blogging is not my profession because if it was I would've been fired 9 months ago.
Happy Thanksgiving!

AVON

Well, to earn a little extra money I am trying out selling Avon. I previously sold Mary Kay and enjoyed it, but thought it might be fun to try something a little different. My website is www.youravon.com/joniterry. Anyone can order on my website and have it shipped directly to you at any time. Or you can order through me and I can only put an order in at specific times. The orders come within a couple days. Have a look at my website, they have pretty cool things and always have really good deals.

Wow!

It has been a long time since we did anything on here!

Things have been interesting in our lives lately! I am now 5 months pregnant with a Boy. I am feeling him move alot and really really enjoying being pregnant. We can't wait to have a baby to love and take care of! We have been calling him Eli but lately we have been tossing around Elliot or Elijah. So far our favorite is Elliot. (But we'd still call him Eli for short) We had a hard time coming up with a middle name but we found a winner! Eli Willis Terry. A cross between both of our fathers middle names and a perfect opportunity for Jared to say "What'cha talkin' about Willis?" Which makes him laugh on a daily basis. Since this is our first baby sometimes it seems unreal! It seems real more and more all the time! Especially for me with all his wigglin around. The other night Jared woke up, put his hand on my belly, and told Eli he loved him. He woke me up to say
"Honey! We are having a BABY!" It was like he had just realized it! We are having moments like that all the time.

We had to put our sweet sweet Cat friend Ebony to sleep a couple months ago. She was old and sick and we felt like her life wasn't as happy or comfortable anymore. That very same day, the girls at work showed up with a new kitten for us. YIKES. We took him in, and he has quickly become a part of our family. His name is Wulfgar and he is one of the silliest kitties we've ever seen! He is the perfect combo of silly and snuggly and he has been a great friend to us and our other cat Stella.

The other interesting thing that has happened recently is the restaurant we were buying was sold out from under us! We decided not to stay working for the new owner because he offered us $8.00 dollars an hour just to work there. And we know we are worth more than that. So, moving on! Bring on the next challenge! We are hoping to stay in the business and hopefully start our own restaurant in the future!

Aside from that, our holidays were wonderful! Jared got a Chewbacca backpack that looks like Chewie is riding on his back. Hilarious! Jared got me Maternity massages, manicure and pedicure day, and maternity clothes! I got spoiled rotton!

Jared also got me a camera so I will post some pictures of us soon!
